Villeroy & Boch is a “Partner of Lufthansa” –
Two strong brands collaborating at Milan Malpensa airport
Villeroy & Boch and Lufthansa: two big names, two strong brands – at Milan Malpensa airport, the largest of the three international commercial airports in the north Italian metropolitan area, the two “made in Germany” brands are collaborating on a special kind of project – the sanitary areas in the new Lufthansa Lounge are “Premium Restrooms from Villeroy & Boch”.
“Working together with Lufthansa has been really exciting for us because both companies stand for tradition and innovation, quality and reliability,” Thimo Franke, Head of Commercial Sales at Villeroy & Boch, explains. “And the exposed presence of our products at Milan airport allows us to reach an extremely attractive target group for the Villeroy & Boch brand in a very busy environment.”
A better way to wait
Lufthansa Lounges at all important national and international airports provide the airline’s passengers with a place to briefly escape the hustle and bustle of travelling. As of 31 January 2018, the new Lufthansa Lounge at Milan Malpensa airport, covering 550 m², will be offering the typical Milanese culture of indulgence paired with an exclusive view of the ramp. The new lounge concept combines first-class service with a cosy living room atmosphere and private areas to retreat.
Premium Restrooms from Villeroy & Boch
The design expertise and bathroom culture of the Villeroy & Boch brand, which will be celebrating its 270th anniversary in 2018, come fully into play in the sanitary areas. As a “Partner of Lufthansa”, Villeroy & Boch continues its sophisticated design concept with high-quality bathroom products and tiles in the sanitary area. The result is a stylish atmosphere that combines contemporary bathroom architecture with the history of Milan. Historic town maps and typical reference buildings of the second largest city in Italy can be seen on selected walls. The large motifs are depicted in the corridors or entrance areas of the ladies’, gents’ and disabled toilets, complete with lettering and logo: “Premium Restrooms from Villeroy & Boch.”
