Can the toilet be a pleasant space? It might sound strange, but it is true. At least, if you ask the ceramic specialist Villeroy & Boch. Besides its most obvious function, the bathroom is also a space where you can enjoy an uninterrupted moment of peace away from all the stresses of everyday life. The toilet has become much more than a purely practical item and is making a significant contribution to well-being.
Villeroy & Boch offers a diverse selection of toilets designed to meet every possible requirement - from functional comfort to technical sophistication and minimalist elegance.
The all-rounders: Subway 2.0, Avento, Architectura
With a sophisticated universal product portfolio in a timeless design, Subway 2.0 provides the ideal starting point for stylish bathroom design at an attractive price. As well as standard seats, all toilets can also be combined with SlimSeats, ultra-flat toilet seats with comfort features such as SoftClosing and QuickRelease. Alternatively, the models can be supplied with the rimless DirectFlush technology.
For anyone seeking a modern look for their bathroom with no compromises in functionality or comfort, the Avento combination toilets offer a perfect solution - also available optionally with DirectFlush.
The toilets in the Architectura series are part of an extensive system collection tailored, in particular, to the needs of installers, planners and architects in terms of product portfolio and price structure. In addition to a modern design, the toilets also impress with their high functionality, setting standards in hygiene, efficiency and maintenance. The round and square wall-mounted DirectFlush toilets are available with four projections - Compact, Standard, XL and Vita (accessible).
The style icons: Venticello, Finion, Antheus
The charming aesthetics of the Venticello collection feature a precise and filigree shape. Three water-saving DirectFlush toilets are available with flat SlimSeats in two different designs - wall-mounted and floor-standing.
With Finion, the renowned designer Patrick Frey has created a premium collection offering impressive variety of designs, high-quality materials and minimalist linear shapes. These features are also reflected in the toilets from the collection, which have been honoured with two of the world’s most prestigious design prizes: the iF Product Design Award 2017 and the red dot award.
The internationally famous designer Christian Haas’ inspiration for Antheus was the striking Bauhaus and Art Deco styles. The wall-mounted rimless toilet with faceted rims impresses with its elegant design together with technical features such as QuickRelease and SoftClosing.
The hygiene pro: ViClean-I 100, ViClean-L, ViClean-U+
An essential feature in Asia and a growing trend in Europe: shower toilets. These models combine the conventional ceramic bowl with a bidet to meet the very highest standards for intimate hygiene. With its three models - ViClean-I 100, ViClean-L and ViClean-U+, Villeroy & Boch addresses the needs of different users.
With its minimalist look, ViClean-I 100 appears just like a normal toilet, but offers all the hygiene benefits of a shower toilet.
The ViClean-L model is all about comfort and natural design. Features such as a pulsating adjustable massage jet, integrated seat heating and a night light enhance the feel-good factor.
The ViClean-U+ comfort model also includes a warm air dryer and a soft-closing mechanism that allows the toilet lid to open and close on its own. The odour extraction function keeps the bathroom free from unpleasant odours.
Inclusive and barrier free: O.novo Vita, Architectura Vita
The growing number of elderly people and individuals in need of care, as well as a new understanding of the requirements of those with restricted mobility, call for cleverly designed accessible solutions - also or in particular for the bathroom.
O.novo Vita offers two wall-mounted toilets as well as a raised and an elongated version. The toilet seats have a special buffer that prevents them from slipping sideways. A groove on the edge of the lid allows easier handling. White and blue seats are available, which make orientation easier for people with dementia.
At 700 mm, the raised and elongated Architectura Vita wall-mounted deep flush toilet has a particularly long projection and can be used safely even by wheelchair users.
Small but effective - toilets for children: O.novo Kids
When it comes to bathroom fittings, Villeroy & Boch also considers very young toilet users. The O.novo Kids collection was designed specially for sanitary areas in crèches, nurseries and primary schools. The child-friendly toilets in this series promote children’s independence and create an early awareness of the importance of hygiene.
The floor-standing toilet allows easy use for young children from a height of 260 mm. An ergonomically shaped soft foam seat ring, in either red or blue, enables even the smallest children to sit safely and comfortably on the toilet - without any risk of injury. The seat can be removed completely for easy and thorough cleaning.
The 350 mm high children's wall-mounted toilet is the first children's toilet on the market with rimless DirectFlush technology.
Children can choose different seats with grip handles according to their height.
